Anyone else here about Dan Patrick talking about the "Nutty Buddy"? The newest product for protecting the family jewels.

I saw it on some news channel last night, and that thing has to be amazing.
When I was taking tae kwon do classes as a kid, you would be out sparring and here a loud pop when someone got racked and it hit their cup. And let me tell you it still hurt like a SOB.

Why not just use a regular cup? We wear the regular ones in hockey, and they work just fine.

Cracking a cup sucks...I wouldn't have minded having that thing instead of 3 cracked cups from high school baseball...

I saw that on Headline News yesterday morning and Robin Meade was giggling like a school girl over it (but that's really nothing new for her)

Hmm I'm fortuante to have never cracked a cup... also probally fortuante enough though to have picked a sport where the only place I actually needed a cup was in the locker room when somoene was having too much fun practicing their towel whipping skills

I was at a HS baseball game one time where the catcher's cup cracked on him. The coach went out while the kid was laying on his back and lifted him up by his belt, and the cracked cup pinched the nuts and the kid screamed. Needless to say as a bunch of HS kids, there were a lot of "OOOOHHHHHs" coming from our dugout.

Think of the way a regular cup is shaped, there is no room for the boys. This new cup is supposed to fit better and need less 'adjusting'.

Awwww....you mean I won't get to watch my favorite baseball players adjusting the jewels any more while he's at the plate??
