The Iowa State women's basketball team (11-8, 3-5 Big 12) hosts No. 21 Oklahoma (14-5, 5-3 Big 12) Saturday, Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. in Hilton Coliseum. Saturday's game will air on FSN. The Cyclones have won six of the last eight meetings against the Sooners.
Talent: Rich Fellingham (PxP), Molly Parrott (Color)
TV: FSN - I'm getting it on Fox Sports Midwest
Talent: Bob Licht (PxP), Brenda VanLengen (Color)
The source of hope is that we have overachieved against OU. Also, we are so very close to being 6-2 instead of 3-5. It is Hilton where we are 8-2 and the Sooners are 1-3 on the road in conference play.
Shaya Kellogg and Maddie Manning are Iowa escapees who, I don't think, have ever hurt us, yet. Kaylon Williams 6'3" sr. 13.8 ppg; Peyton Little 5'11" jr. 12.2 ppg; Manning 8.7 ppg; and backup center Vionise Pierre-Louis 6'4" so. 7.8 ppg. Little scored 23 pts in the second half in a comeback win over WVU.
So sad to watch our NCAA streak slip away - a win today could stop that slide.
