Preview message

I don't think this is a bug, but didn't know. When I'm on my work laptop and am looking at the latest posts, I can hover over the thread and preview the first posted message. But on my personal laptop I can't.

My work laptop is a Dell and it works in Chrome and IE. My home laptop is a Surface and I use the same browsers. I've looked for differences in settings but am unable to find it.

Any help?

I’ve noticed this also but I swear it sometimes happens on the same computer and browser. I travel a lot so I just always chalked it up to the different WiFis or servers I was using.
