Assuming the collapse of conference, the best case would be aTm following their UT overlords and heading to the Pac-16, but this is great news if they don't go. I'm starting to get worried though, as it seems like people are starting to assume that aTm to the SEC is a done deal. If the whole 'ISU to the Big East' scenario is to play out, we don't want the SEC or ACC to start expanding.

Is this why the Mountain West invited Boise State, or is this because the Mountain West invited Boise State? Or neither and Utah is just lucking out?

No kiddin. MWC without Utah is not good news. Wow....But good job out of Utah scrapping for an invite consideration. That could be a $18+ Million increase in revenue for them

Keep in mind guys that Basketball runs KU. I think KU goes to the Big East over the Mountain West if they have to make a choice.

Alos, Self has made some statements that implicate KU toward joining the Big East if the Big 12 collapses. Something to the effect that he sees KU in a BCS conference (which isn't yet the Mountain West). Also that KU basketball is what is always has been & they will remain in a top notch league, just different surrounding that they'll adjust too & recruit to. (Big East)
