I'm wondering after seeing what it means to have an incompetent conference commish, should we nominate Pollard as the new conference commissioner? I'm wondering if he could do more good for ISU by being aggressive in TV contracts and conference superiority than what he can do at ISU. While, I don't know if he'd want it, I think that if the Big12 survives he should be looked at to replace Beebe.

IMO, Pollard's career is still in its infancy to be suggesting that he head a whole conference. But Dan Beebe was in charge of the Big 12, so.......maybe.

Ummm, not realistic. After JP's attempted jokes at the bowl game pep rally, I doubt he is very popular with other conference a.d.s. Plus as a fairly new and young a.d, I doubt he would have any support for any kind of conference position in a new Big 12 or anything else.

According to Matt, Chip brown is saying that there is no way Texas and Texas A and M go to the Big 10 or SEC.
