thoughts and predictions as the Sweet 16 gets underway....

Does Baylor have the best road of the three big 12 teams left?

Kansas vs Purdue
Wvu Vs Gonzaga

A lot of contrasts in those games.

I like Kansas because their guards are far superior to Purdue's, and they are playing in the Sprint Center.
I lean toward Gonzaga because I think they have enough ball handlers and skill players to handle that West Virginia press.

I predict big 12 wins 3 and the big 10 gets beat by 10,000.

Living in the middle of Zag nation, I REALLY hope the hill jackers curb stomp these guys. I don't think zags can take the physical play but not sure hillbilly offense can be relied on.

If Kansas plays like they did the last game, while fragile they looked like a final 4 team. Jackson has to continue playing like he had a drink thrown on a friend, assaulted a women and her car, hired a lawyer, tried to pay hush money under the table, and served a suspension all while clouds of rape swirl. Whatever the motivation he needs....

Given how stupendously awful my brackets have been so far, I will likely miss every single one of these games.

No predictions, but I'm rooting for the Big 12. Still, the tournament is semi-dead to me after we get bounced. It's just hard for me to get excited about it, sadly.

My basketball soul was sucked out five days ago.

This is where I'm at. There are going to be some really good games over the next 4 days and I could really give a crap. I think I bounced back better from the *** loss two years ago than I have from last Saturday. I'll start out watching tonight, but there's a decent chance I'll walk away at some point because the nerve is still too raw.

Go Big12, including KU. I hope they house Purdue.

I have Baylor and Kansas moving on, but I think Gonzaga is the real deal this year.
Deonte looked incredible against the Zags. If WV can wear down Karnowski and Williams Gross is blanketed, I think they can be in a world of hurt.

The last 5 years I've been really bummed when we get bounced to the point where I don't really watch the rest of the tourney, but I really like some of these matchups at least tonight that I'll be tuning in.

Don't think Gonzaga can win. They have never seen an aggressive D like WV has in store for them. If they do win, I don't think they'll cover the 4 pt spread.

Kansas is in trouble if Purdue hits shots. And again, if KU wins, I don't think they cover the 6 pt spread.

That's where I have my money...
