Any explanation available for Lazard's absence today? IA State Daily vaguely suggested health reasons. ISU press release did not mention her at all and stated they were shorthanded. No mention of her absence on ISU VB Twitter.

Today's loss likely was the last nail in the coffin for a NCAA tourney berth.

Five front court players are now either injured or suspended. My guess is that Lazard had a practice blow up.
