Audi learning that freshman don't get the calls. When she's a junior and senior, that will change

Booker should be shooting 15-20 times a game. Maybe next year with Harmon back at PG. About as pretty of a mid-range jumper as you'll see in WBB college play.

Glad they got some late looks for Crooks. At least got her a couple more points since it was just stats time and I wanted her to get 24-26 pts.

Isn't Lynne Lorenzen? Or do we not count because it was six on six?

I'd like to think Audi will eventually benefit from fouls called on her defenders, but I wonder if she will. So many of the players who defend her are tall and think, but not wide. They are able to lean on her with great force without looking like they are doing so. It is harder for Audi to lean on them without clearly making body contact.

For example, IIRC, KSU's Lee did not have a foul in the first half of that game. Yet, she was using arm bars and leaning hard on Audi on every play.

If Audi is going to get the benefits of the refs calls, she is going to have to get much stronger in the arms so that she can push off like everyone else without looking like she is body-checking them.

Defenders seem allowed to guard Audi with impunity by hanging their arms over her head to "block shots" and/or shoving her away from the basket on the entry pass. Both of these get called maybe once a game while defenders are doing them on nearly every touch.

So glad Texas is done after this year in conference. Them with Vic at the helm are especially toxic.
Not going to miss Vic one bit. It is setting up some really high drama between him and Mulkey though. Geux Tigers!
