Is the end of the road nearing for Ron Zook at Illinois? Rose Bowl to bottomfeeder in two years is unbelievable. The seat must be getting warm in Champaign.

He's losing recruits to Iowa, so probably yes.

Illinois has always been an enigma for me. They have the potential to be so much more.

Illinois has played better lately but so far Cincy is having their way with them. Watching Tony Pike makes me think of what Chanse Creekmur could be someday. Very similar size and Chanse may be even more athletic. I'm sitting on pins and needles hoping we are going after Chanse and that he will soon sign with the good guys.

I bet he gets at least 1 more season. He's brought talent to that school that they've never had before but it's still Illinois so it's going to be hard to sustain a high level of success there every year.

The AD will not fire him this year..... The AD has one more year left and he simply wont do anything. SO once he retires the new AD that comes in will fire his *** in a heartbeat

He has brought some pretty good recruiting classes to a doormat Big 10 program. Problem is he's still not a great game day coach, just a coach that can recruit. Was the knock on him at Florida too.
