My dad and I are coming up for our umpteenth Spring game...I just graduated from ISU in Spring '10, but more importantly my dad has made thousands of trips to ISU for MBB and FB. He has had FB season tix since 1975 and can tell you any story (good or bad) about any game he has been to. His ISU alumnus connection consists of taking 1 taxidermy class back in the day, but other than that he has just always been a die-hard Cyclone fan, without being a righ-rolling donor or getting many extra perks. I'm always impressed by how much he knows and remembers involving Cyclone Athletics without ever being on CycloneReport, CycloneFanatic, etc.
I suffered a high ankle sprain will laying my life on the line playing intramural volleyball. Like any true cyclone legend, I walked off the injury for a couple of minutes and got right back in there. It was a tight battle between two quality teams. After losing the first set that my injury occurred in, I willed us to victory in an intense three set match. Since that night, I have been on crutches with limited mobility. This wouldn make my life much easier not dealing with the struggles of peasant life.
P.S. I would gladly offer you a beverage of your choice to show my gratitude.
