Just curious to get other peoples opinion on this, with the new scanning of tickets. How easy would it be for someone to sell their Iowa tickets, and than turn around and print the tickets off at home? BY doing that, doesn't it essentially cancel the hard tickets?
Last year I ended up selling by season basketball tickets because I needed the money, yet I still had access to them on my Cyclones.com account, and could of just printed each ticket off at home?
I would never do this to anyone, but I could see this as a way to screw others while making money for yourself. As someone who is looking on Craigslist to get tickets for the game this weekend, I'm just curious what other think of this "risk"?
Re: Buying Tickets
I think someone could do this with any ISU tickets for fball or bball. You could sell them, claim they were lost and then the original ticket would be canceled and you would be sent a new one or have to print one off. Of course this would be totally unethical and illegal, but it would be possible. One reason people are warned about scalpers or secondary market tickets, and reason to go through somewhere reputable.
