Any Chance to Get a Resonably Priced Ticket to Big 12 Tourney Friday?

Those with experience what can I realistically expect to pay for a ticket to the game on Friday in Kansas City? Can the average joe actually get into one of these games? Everything I am finding online is ridiculous. I know some people can afford it but I just can't justify dropping more than 60 to 80 bones on one basketball game. Anyone have success getting decent prices outside the arena. Also anyone know if you can sell your ticket to someone else for the second game once you leave the first? Thanks for any feedback.

I don't think you're going to find anything like that.

I'm no expert, but that's what I think the posts so far are indicating. StubHub doesn't show anything near what you're looking for.

The face value for my upper level seat is $60. With all of the ISU and KU fans making it down, you'd be extremely lucky to get a ticket for that.

I would assume a tix for the ISU/KU game will be 80-100 bucks. The arena is going to be slam packed tomorrow.

They were selling them at the ticket office today. Bought some uppers for my parents for 60 from scalper

Both semis are on the same ticket, so throw in KSU vs. OSU/BU and the price keeps going up.

Basically, the 3 teams that actually have fans attending their games are contending for these tickets. Prices will explode over the next 20 hours.

Saturday is a better bet for a better price, I think, if only because KU fans will have tickets to unload.

If we were to make the championship game, do you think tickets would be reasonably priced with a lot of KU fans most likely selling their tickets? A friend and I, him from Dallas, and me in Houston are considering driving through the night to KC if we make the final, but if the tickets are going to be ridiculous I would rather stay put. Somewhat a crazy plan on our part, but you don't make it to the Big XII championship game every day

The cheapest I can find is $133. Debating whether that is worth the trip.

All I know for sure is that there has already been a slew of propaganda towards revkah about a Saturday trip. This isn't everyday, and it might be too special to miss.

planning on taking the kids on saturday to watch ISU cut the nets down. i figure a few thousand tickets will come open tomorrow night around this time.
