    Interesting Fact

    So I was scoping out UNI today, and found out that they are one of six teams to have never had a losing season since the NCAA started keeping records in 1981. The other five are usual suspects - Hawaii, Stanford, Nebraska, Penn St., and UCLA. I guess I had never realized how traditionally good they've been. In the words of Paul Harvey, now you know.... the *rest* of the story.

    When the rankings came out and UNI was ranked higher than ISU, I thought to myself, "When did they get so good?" Well, I guess 1981 at least.....

    UNI should be an inspiration to those who whine about competing with larger schools with larger budgets and better facilities. UNI, for one, seems to compete pretty well - no excuses.

    If I remember correctly one of the first steps in ISU's improvement after Christy arrived was being able to beat UNI.
