Taping one or two wouldn't be hard, but taping several matches' worth of every future opponent would be.

You don't buy for football, as that is already televised, and if you have season tickets you're already there for whatever games would make it on cyclones.tv. Not a whole lot will buy it for MBB either as conference games will all be on tv. Sure some of the noncon is on there, but the largest audience for cyclones.tv is in iowa, and if theyre interested will likely just go up to the games for mbb (where they might not take\prioritize the time for WBB\VB)
For me at least, any use of cyclones.tv would come from wbb and vb that i don't have as much time to make in between already making it to fb and mbb, and have much less (wbb) or zero (vb) opportunity to watch on tv. So anything that devalues that portion of the purchase would diminish my reasons for getting c.tv.

I actually did buy cyclones.tv, and the clone zone before that, for the football and basketball access. I have never watched a volleyball, soccer, women's basketball, or any other sport using the cyclone internet option.

This will cause a major spike in purchases.

There aren't very many people at those nonconference matchups, i dont know how there will be a huge spike from the online version of those.
Conference matchups are what sell tickets\viewers.

I also bought it primarily for non-con Men's BB.

my first thought in reading CJL remarks was about post season play. Don't want people who haven't scouted you, to all of a sudden be able to see all of your home matches. In noncon, there really isn't enough matches to "scout" and in the Big 12, they play each other enough, and see each other enough playing other Big 12, that it there is less "scouting" need.

Excellent post. By the time the team knows they are playing ISU there aren't any live games to capture.
+1

So take them down once the postseason starts then. I respect what the coach is wanting, but people are paying for content, and the more content the better. Especially since Volleyball is the only Fall Olympic sport that Cyclones.TV broadcasts in its entirety there is no reason not to have all the broadcasts available in the archive.
