Iowa State wins the second set by a hair. Way to come back and then finish them off. One more set to win and then we are moving up in the standings.

Set 3 is when things usually go bad. Just need to come out and finish them, instead of our normal 3rd set.

Kind of looks like we took out our bad streak in set 2. We are doing a good job dominating this team so far. That come from behind win probably took the wind out of their sails.

We finished them off in easy fashion. I have a feeling coach is going to have plenty good to say about this match. The team is flat out getting better. That is hopeful for continued Big 12 play. They will play SDSU, over by where I am. That should be a fairly easy game along with against Texas Tech. While all matches are important, the one coming up against Oklahoma will be very important. If we can knock them off at their home place, we would be sitting very well. Anyway, I will be around.

What I think was concerning in the TCU game was two of our starters were subbed out for probably poor offessive proformances. TCU really isn't a powerhouse in the BIG12 so shouldn't our outsides have been at least somewhat effective? I believe one hit .0 and the other -.200 ish.

The coach mentioned in her interview, Rachel Hockaday, was tired because she isn't that tall and has to jump often. She also mentioned that Bigbee hasn't been as effective because the other teams have scouted her and so they are moving her around to get her experience in varying her attack. She says this is the best bench that she has had in her career. I hope that plays into having a positive end to the season.
