pretty amazing that we hung with a team like Stanford when you think of where we were a few years ago. We're getting there! Great season girls!

Great season! We started out 10-7 and finished on a 12 game winning streak. After the Syracuse lost, I didn't know if we would even make the tourny. We're gonna miss Straube, Knuth, Landwehr, and Hock; but we have a good core comming back. I'm excited to see how these studly freshman develop next year (could be another special year next season). I always thought Stanford was the best team in the country and after watching them i believe that even more. They kinda remind me of Kentucky basketball from last year.

Their middle hitters were pretty incredible. I would be surprised if they don't make it to the finals. My reception went bad mostly in the last match. I think before that it was pretty good. I wish we could have done better but was very proud to be a Cyclone watching this team. I think during this tourney we had glimpses of what Hockaday might have been if she hadn't had that injury. That was a huge tragedy for ISU. All in all, they have lots of work to do to get ready for next year. I can't wait.
we had a shot at that second set, then made a few errors on our side of the net that killed that. Thought Standford looked great, but also thought we played a little sloppy at times.
What impressed me about Stanford was not only their middles, but it was their precision passing and defense. There were a lot of balls I though were down and they pancaked them up or wierd digs, and somehow managed to get a good set off of for a good spike.
