Considering that one season ticket for VB costs less than one single-game ticket for FB (and is roughly equal to two single-game MBB tix), it's a mystery as to why there aren't more sold. It's an absolute steal.

Seriously, this is great, not only for ISU, but continued volleyball development in the state of Iowa.

I don't know about all the other stuff, but his knowledge on the volleyball at the end of the year is pretty good. Tourney selections and what-have-you. Mine was just meant as a good natured jab because he seems to be the guy every year to look for her to leave.

I'm glad she's here. I'll say this though, if ever Cook leaves NU, and they really press her, that might be the only job I could see her leave for at this point. They could buy her out. But, I know she loves Ames and what she continues to build.

It's terrible of me, but my first thought upon reading the release was "I wonder if 7 years is how much longer Cook has left..." Here's to hoping it's only 5.

No, I hope he coaches for another 8-9 yrs. CJL gets a national title or two in that time, plus a stand alone building with wrestling, and doesn't want to even entertain the idea.

And I took your jab as good natured; just have pointed out when she is the first choice for certain other jobs.
She was the first one that Minnesota turned to when they had an opening, and she turned the job down. She was also the first one that Wisconsin turned to when they had an opening, and she turned it down.
Oh, and BTW...when I see Jamie Pollard at a function in a couple of weeks, I can't wait to tell him that apparently I'm a JP hater...
