This was the first match I've ever attended. It was a great time, my family and I will be back. If you love ISU and have never been you really are missing out.

Need to put the job Coach Johnson has done with the program in perspective. Maybe one of the all time greatest coaching achievements in any sport.

Here is ISU's VB record in conference play since the founding of the Big 12. Any guesses which year she started in Ames?

Also, I watched quite a bit of the UNL-Texas volleyball match on TV last weekend. UNL played close, but lost 3-0. If that same UNL team is here Saturday, we're already way ahead of them.

That was nothing... you should've seen her when she played.

She used to bounce around, jump up and down (alot like Caitlin Mahoney) like a crazed woman. We used to tease her to settle down - thought for sure she was going to snap an ankle some time.

Got to talk to Joe last night for a quick moment. All coach speak, so TFWIW. But he reassured us how happy he and CJ are in Ames. Said something to the effect that it's a "perfect situation".

Made me feel pretty good, I have to admit.

I thought the same thing when I saw what game was on FSN. I don't think I've seen ISU on there all season-not once! Bunch of bull-crap!

I graduated from ISU in 2001. I went to maybe a dozen volleyball matches my junior and senior years, and I never saw them win a single set. Not match. Set.

In fact, in 2000 the VB team didn't win a set in Ames all season.
