And that's where losing Rachel hurts. Probably one of our better passers off the serve. Everything was all over the place. Seemed like every serve recieve was high and tight, a great looking haircut if you are in the marines, but a crappy way to set up your rookie setter against a very good Florida team. Where did the passing go? I mean even without RH I would have expected better.
Hope is not a method. Soon is not a time. -

Re: ISU vs Florida VB on TV today
Other thing I noticed was a lot of unforced errors. How many times did we get called for backcourt hitting violations, seemed like a lot. I thought Jensen came in and played pretty solid in the absence of Hockaday. We really looked like the team playing their first match of the year, and Florida looked like they had played a few matches.

So do we know a firm diagnosis for Rachel?

"Blamo"! The new CF approved swear word. -

As bad as it twisted when she came down, I'm going to bet an MRI won't show anything for a couple days because I'll betcha its a balloon today. There's absolutely no way she's playing today and every coach knows that. When she can't even walk off the court, no way she's playing.

If it was an effect, the passing should be better today as they get used to the bigger arena.

Sometimes those hyper extensions hurt like hell, but are more scary thany anything. And the staff isn't going to take any changes. But too I fear she really ripped it.
Sucks. President of our company was at some luncheon or something on Thurs. Said CJL was talking about us being Final 4 material this season.
Losing Rachel really would damage that goal.

Looks like Hilton flood affected the readiness of our team.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Regardless, they should've one the first game, but it was nice to see them bounce back in the third.

Well so far we've given Kentucky more points than they've actually scored with errors. Passing still looks crappy.

Caitlin does not look the same on her serves yet this year.

Ok, they just showed the replay...it bent the wrong direction. Getting help from the trainers to get off. No weight on it period. If I had to venture a guess, she just completely destroyed her left knee. WTF. Can someone please figure out which god we PO'ed so we can make amends? This is really getting old. I was as excited about this year's VB team as I have been with any ISU team.
