Re: ISU-Paradise Jam information
I love this thread. I now actually know something about the three teams we will be playing other than their ranks and records. That will make watching just that much more enjoyable. Thanks all!

Re: ISU-Paradise Jam information
I am hoping that we play lights out and win all 3 games. Realistically, I would say 2-1 and if we go 1-2 we had better get home fast and regroup.

Agre that 2-1 would be good and 3-0 great although I won't panic at 1-2 since one of Bill and the staff’s strengths is prep for individual opponents. Three games in three days against strong competition doesn't exactly play to that strength. They will have a plan for each team but not the usual prep time to practice it. -

Re: ISU-Paradise Jam information
We saw Virginia last year and Monica Wright was so dominant, it was hard to expect much from the rest of the team. #15, Ariana Moore, a 5-7 guard seems to have stepped into the same role. She averages better than 18 pts/game and only one other player averages in double digits (10). A single scoring threat is ideal for one of Fennelly's patented defenses. We'll get an early glimpse into his strategy for this year - will he double the scorer and let someone else go or will he try to cover her with his "best" defender, whoever that is? “We’ve got a pretty good football conference, and we’ve got a pretty good conference overall. I wonder if this tournament is serving as a kind of dress rehearsal for them before their official launch.

With current technology, we ought to be able to get video from any event. But, picking up a feed from an existing tv production is one thing. Doing the production is something else. If they get a thousand customers from each school in the tournament, they have 40k to pay for the production crew on the island. I think the question is, the technology is there, how much are we willing to pay for it. $4.99 for all the games is a steal. I wonder what the actual cost is.

Re: ISU-Paradise Jam information
Hey fanatics, I just watched the TCU/WV game and the "color" commentary by Brenda Vonlenglen is not very interesting.... So I'm going to listen to our own Cyclones commentary on Cyclone radio while watching the game on the screen feed on mute. Just a tip! Coach Fen's being interviewed right now.... Can't wait! I think after watching TCU we will match up well against them. WV's pressure defense reminds me of A&M and will probably catch us off balance.

Just took the plunge and tuned into the pregame... Hope we don't just have the security camera of the high school gymnasium for the whole game.

Re: ISU-Paradise Jam information

Re: ISU-Paradise Jam information
