    No. 16 Cyclones Fall to No. 19 Iowa, 62-40

    IOWA CITY, Iowa – The No. 16 Iowa State women’s basketball team had rough starts to both halves Thursday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena as the Cyclones fell 62-40 to the No. 19 Iowa Hawkeyes. The loss drops Iowa State to 6-2 on the season.

    This was a classic beatdown......With the recruits Bluder has coming in next year, Iowa will own BF for the next 4-years...

    This was a slap in our faces. All I can say is OUCH! We really need to have our bigs step up. We are not going to succeed with only Kelsey B. and Loz being our only scorers. This game was intense, but not as intense as the big 12. Iowa is going to dominate us the next few years with their recruits.
