    Kelsey Bolte

Where does she stand among the career records right now? Career scoring? Three point shots made? Three point shot percentage? Free throws? Any other? Thanks.

    Re: Kelsey Bolte

Going into the season I think Bolte was in 8th place for 3 pointers made and in 8th place for % on 3's. She is #1 in free throw shooting percentage as a Cyclone

I think she is currently 7th all time in scoring and has a chance to pass Allison Lacey at 6th with 1,620 points in a career

    Re: Kelsey Bolte

Looking over the all-time stats I'm going to predict that the next retired jersey is probably going to be Lindsey Wilson. She shows up in the top 10 in 11 career categories, top 5 in many of them. I've always wondered if the reason why Stacey Freese has not be retired is because she was only here for 3 seasons? She was a pretty important player that helped start this run of success.

    Re: Kelsey Bolte

Here's another fun one to discuss. Who would make your All-Time Women's team from ISU? I would probably go with

    C Angie Welle
    F Tonya Burns
    F Megan Taylor
    G Lindsey Wilson
    G Stacey Freese

G is the toughest, lots of choices there. I'd have to include Lacey, for sure and I'm in a bind trying to pick between Gahan, Ezell, Medders for guards. Jayme Olson definitely as a F and probably Wieben at C as she is the career blocked shots leader and 8th in rebounds. Bolte may make my other F spot by the time she is done here.

    Any input?

I think you got it. Burns and Olson are pretty close but the other 4 are locks IMO

    Re: Kelsey Bolte

That's not a bad line-up but I have a hard time not including Lacey and Bolte. They have played in an Elite 8 and two Sweet Sixteens. While they have played about a decade apart from the players listed, it's almost like a different era. Defense is a bigger emphasis on the team now. Bill used zones almost exclusively back then and hoped it was enough for the offensive firepower to outscore the other team.

Its tougher for the recent players to match the earlier players' offensive stats because BF now plays for games in the 50s and 60s, where before it was 70s and 80s. Defense is a bigger part now. If you go for an all-around game, Bolte and Lacey have to be on the team.

If I'm putting an all time team together I'm running with Desiree Francis somewhere on the team. Relentless athlete and a solid player overall. Very enjoyable to watch.
