I can't say that one team was helped more than the other by the refs - too much consultation annoyed the crowd. Team play determined the outcome. We still need another shooter. I didn't hear any discussion about Mansfield in the post-game - I hope she's not seriously injured. We have to get better to get the ball in and down the court against pressure. We beat the spread. Congrats ladies.
That was a great game. I haven't had that much fun at Hilton in a while. Great time.

I went out an bought an ISU white tshirt and I am glad I did. No way that I was fitting into my medium. I gave it to a little kid a couple rows in front of me. A good idea and I hope we see some gold or red outs too.

Well, if what the announcers said about Goestenkors wanting to come out ultra-aggressive on defense was true, then a closely-called game would seem to favor ISU. Given TX had both Gayle and Hartung foul out after playing a combined 26 minutes, and Poppens had a huge game inside, I think that was significant. That was the tightest-called WBB game I've seen for a while.
I thought Cole and Schroll had nice games, despite not having big stats.
Agreed. Cole ran the offense at crucial times at the end of regulation and in OT with Mansfield out. Schroll played tough defense and rebounded.Quote:
