Big East definitely dominates. The ACC took a hit with Maryland losing badly and OU upsetting Miami. WV gave Baylor a game, but the shoots weren't hitting just as the year went for them. Marquette had TN on the ropes.
Some real good games int the Sweet Sixteen:
DePaul/Duke This should be a very physical game. I am a fan of Brunos, but DePaul hasn't played terribly well in the tourney. Their defense will likely stiffle Duke's already troubled quarter court offense.
Green Bay/ Baylor - Be interesting to see how Baylor handles Green Bay's outside shooting. Can Green Bay be quick enough to minimize Griner's effect on defense. Look for another 30 pt game from Griner without a real big to play physical against Griner. Baylor
Zags/Louisville - Curious to see how Vandersloot handles Louisville's high intensity, high pressure, physical defense. They have both size and speed. Will Louisville stay hot, or will they return to their poor shooting abilities that troubled them through conference.
TN/OSU - Although I think the SEC is way down, and TN is weak in the post. A close game on their home court against the Golden Eagles has Pat in a fury. Don't think OSU has enough weapons to beat TN. Lavendar will not respond well the TN's very physical and aggressive defense. Louisville
OU/ND - A game about guards. Who comes out on top, Skylar or Danielle? Wen the 3s fall OU looks genius, when they don't, they have trouble scoring. ND has some bigs that might give OU trouble on the inside.
Stanford/UNC - should be a barnburner.
