Like I said earlier, she is still pretty raw. Adams pretty much was just refining all those qualities as a sophomore in HIGH SCHOOL. She was that good even then. The knock on her was her weight and her academics. She had a sweet outside shot, could distribute the BB if called upon, and could even bring it upcourt against the press. It was almost too her detriment she was so talented outside. It was sometimes hard to get her to stay inside. In the championship game against ND, however, Blair convinced her that the only way they could win was if she quit the outside shooting and just show what kind of force she could be inside. The rest is history.
While I'd love to see her develop a fadeaway, we don't need Mays to be that great a shot if she can get the rebounds and put backs like Pop. If she can do that she can spell Pop, and Prins and Hallie can do their thing with the jump shots.
