    Fennelly fired up after Cyclones' win

    Hey Fanatics,

    Big 12 play is six days away and Bill Fennelly is not happy with the way his team is practicing and playing. Iowa State beat New Hampshire on Thursday, but Fennelly was fired up afterward.

    I have the sense that this team thinks it can rise to the occasion. They get a good lead and then let up - Coach wants them to practice and play at all times as though they were playing a tight game against Baylor.

    Great thought.

    It felt like Iowa State would roll tonight at the start then they went into a lull and never really got that intensity back.

    I misread it for a split-second, too — even though I already had seen main story last night!

    probably could have quotations around "fired up" -- or reworded headline entirely; first time I saw it, I took fired-up to be positive.
