    Re: Emiah Bingley updates

Really excited to see Emiah play for ISU. Congratulations on all the honors!

Taylor Manual is headed to Purdue isn't she? Your right on St. Louis. I strongly believe it is the reason MU left the Big 12. Maybe a little get back at the conference by not picking the Big 12 recruit?

Congrats to Emiah (and Dad)! A hard-earned and well-deserved award.

A reminder to KC Area Clones. She will be playing in the Metro Coaches All-Star game Friday night at Shawnee Mission South. RB can correct me, but I believe the girls tip-off at 6:00.

This article talks about her accepting her award.

DiRenna Award Video. Also Emiah was chosen yesterday to the All Metro Sports 1st Team. Still Waiting on the KC Star to do their list.

Can't wait to see Emiah in a Cyclone uniform. With Moody & Brynn, the two guards in this years class, and Jada next year our guards will be fun to watch for the next 4-5 years.

    Re: Emiah Bingley updates

One more Award, KC 1st Team All Metro.. She did not win KC Star Player of the year, even after winning the DiRenna Award, but we know what that was all about!! A Kid from Blue Springs (with a better team, but lower stats) Won Metro Player of the Year. But she is now on to bigger and better things, and can't wait to be in Ames June 2nd!!

    Re: Emiah Bingley updates

I question the Star sometimes. Seems like they pick a favorite player early on and will him/her. Hardly ever match up with the coaches pick. I think I'd put more stock in the coaches' pick, which Emiah won.

On the other hand, LS West's Shaq Harrison ended up the Star's boys BB player of the year. Another connection for Cyclone fans - he was probably Luke Knott's best receiver the last two years, making some big catches in big games. He is going to play BB for Danny Manning at Tulsa.

I agree, they have done little honestly in support of Girls basketball. They rarely get out to games, they don't know players well. They pay much more attention to men's sports than they do to women's, and it's sad...
