Re: Second time I've heard of Nasty Emails to BF
While I can understand why some fans were upset about Jesse's departure, there was no need for insulting emails here. On the other hand, those who emailed angrily about the five-game skid should go back and ponder the brutal nature of our early Big 12 schedule, which included the current national champion team and the team rated #1 this year. We were not exactly playing the Eastern Bulgarian School of Nannies.

To email Bill about the streak and complaining is wrong.
To question if all was in balance given the needs of all was fair since we seemed to be at a point of going differing directions.
Those who know the most would agree.
And to be clear, I am a strong fan of Bill.
However, now is the time to move on, grow and win.

I bet every successful major college athletic program has things like this happen during bad times. That said, it's still cowardly to say nasty things via e-mail. Don't e-mail something you wouldn't say straight to a person's face. I bet if most of these people would have thought about that, they might have backed down.

Great point! In the era of internet message boards, user comments on websites, etc, I think this a lot. If some of the people that sent those were face to face with these players, coaches, etc they wouldn't say the same things.
On a side note, I'm so glad many newspapers have made the comments section linked to someone's facebook profile. I was always shocked at people who make cheap shots/rude comments speculating on tragic things that happened to families, etc.

Also, OP freak out much? No . . why are you minimizing?
This man is struggling with CA (one is never cured of cancer it is controlled) . . . and you have cheap shot posters blasting away at one of our BEST coaches EVER at ISU. Why let these "fans" push him out the door?
I want BF to stay knowing we (the fans). . . will stick with him through his recovery . . .regardless of a down year or two.
JP has it right . . . total support.

Re: Second time I've heard of Nasty Emails to BF
I think it's really pathetic that some people think so much of themselves and their opinions that they would waste people's time with it....and no doubt, those same people would have a real hard time articulating those same feelings face to face with the coaches and JP.
That being said, are you always such a drama queen?

If you are sending nasty Emails to the most successfull womens coach ISU has ever had you really need to get a life.

Those who know the most would agree. Sounds very reasonable, but a little vague; I'm curious to learn more, is it possible for you to elaborate?
