Sounds like she would be a great player to have. Anyone know if ISU is a strong contender? I keep thinking that all it will take is a small nucleus of make-a-difference type players, with the coaching staff that we have, to get us over the hump for a final four. The 2012 and 2013 classes could do that, along with current underclassmen.

I don't know if it means anything but her mom was wearing a ISU shirt. She will have to build herself up a little as she is a JA type frame but then Britney Griner has gotten stronger the last 3 years.

I don't think it means a lot, but it was great to see she was in attendance for such a big game! Her brother, assuming that's who it was, also had an ISU hat!
Anyway, she talked to the assistant coaches for quite some time. For what it's worth, she looked very excited when Fennelly came out onto the floor for his post-game interview with Mr. Fellingham.

Re: 2013 recruits
I saw the same gathering and wondered who the recruit was. 3 assistant coaches talking to her & mother; brother hanging around. Yes, her mother had an ISU shirt on, and also the recruit did - it was a gray shirt and iowa state was in ****** - a bit hard to read, but was there. I noticed Finnelly gave her a hug as he came out on way to his post game radio interview. Looks like she needs to add a few pounds or she'll get knocked around. Given the looks and duration of the meeting and wearing ISU apparel, you'd think ISU was in good shape with her.

Re: 2013 recruits
believe she attended elite camp. With all the talls 6 6ers in n coming to the Big 12 she would be a good asset.

Re: 2013 recruits
Also need to keep in mind if we lose any players in the off season. I would not be surprised if 1 or 2 players transfer.

Rebekah Dahlman: Braham's Rebekah Dahlman is the Pioneer Press girls basketball player of the year - TwinCities.com
Next to a computer is a chart of 20 schools, listed alphabetically, with the NCAA Division I programs that have offered her scholarships.
They are: Baylor, Boston College, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Marquette, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina State, Purdue, Rutgers, San Diego, San Francisco, Vanderbilt, Vermont and Virginia Tech.
...
Dahlman said she will take her five official recruiting visits in the fall and will decide promptly.
Dahlman broke the all-time MN GBB scoring record in her final game this season, a first-round state tournament loss. And she still has one season left. That was the record Megan Taylor held at one time, although it's been broken a few times since.
Yes, her scoring average of 35.7 points per game puts her on pace to break the state girls scoring record this week at the state tournament, but she also averages 11.3 rebounds, 7.0 steals and 5.2 assists per game.

. That is an impressive list of offers. No doubt we may see it grow too as other elites like to "sweep" in like Pat, Geno, and Tara do at the end of recruiting processes.
Sad enough we have had to contend with Coale recruiting from our part of the country, to now have Mulkey up here too. Mulkey as BF does, has a good eye for point guards. Guess we hit their regions, so turnabout is fair play, I guess. :-)

Re: 2013 recruits
Just curious, haven't really heard any mention of Agey or Freeman as possible 2013 recruits out of IA. Anyone know anything about them?
They are on the HG 100, but right now that doesn't mean a whole lot. 2013 High School Girls' Basketball Recruiting Prospects - ESPNHS -
