If you are a young adult 4' 7" and can't jump and you are a very excellent basketball player. You could get playing time on the Texas Tech mens team!!!

Height is an advantage. But it is stupid to say that is the only reason she is good when there are other players out there just as tall. She is a good ball player regardless of height. Prins doesn't light things up for us just because she is tall.

Re: Baylor - suspensions
I watched the game on TV and it was my first ever experience watching WBB.
I was entertained. It was good basketball.
Wait... maybe this should have gone into the Friday confessional thread?
See my shadow changing, stretching up and over me... Soften this old armor, hoping I can clear the way... By stepping through my shadow, coming out the other side... Step into the shadow, forty-six and two are just ahead of me. -
Re: Baylor - suspensions
It's just very lucky for Baylor that there was not a fight, and that the players on the court or off the bench did not get pulled into something and suspended. Can you imagine them being 38-0, two games from a national championship that they've set on a pedestal since losing to A&M last year, and playing (and losing) without starters and All Americans in the semifinals? Just because they lacked the discipline to act with some class and/or follow the rules in game that was already over with?
That's also why you don't leave Sims in the game when she's not needed. She is unpredictable. She may get on a shooting streak, be quick as heck, but if you cannot count on her to be a leader, it's not worth it. I would not want her in an ISU uniform unless and until she cleaned up her act.
Oddly enough, the ejection incident should never have happened if the right things had happened first. Sims shouldn't have been trying to muscle up a shot. She should have been on the bench already. Or at least she should have been passing to her reserve teammates to give them a chance to score in a regional final game -- she sure didn't need to pad her scoring stats.

Mulkey pulled the starters, but sent Sims back in for some reason, perhaps to handle the ball.

If you saw the game Sat you would understand why...the reserves blew a 31 point lead and let GT cut it to 15 because of turnovers. The reserve guards are a huge drop off and couldn't handle the pressure.

When you wait to sub that late in the game, your starting All America point guard surely can by subbed out to give someone off the bench a chance to play.
Plus, what's the usual coaching etiquette? Who subs first? The team with the big lead, or the other team? Maybe if Baylor subs first, then Tennessee would have followed? Fortunately, Notre Dame did some sub'ing vs Maryland, otherwise a starter might have been injured on the floor.
