    Re: The Baylor Challenge Question!

There are intramural teams at Iowa State that would smoke Baylor's women.

    Re: The Baylor Challenge Question!

I don't think that the Baylor women would have much of a chance against any Division I men's team because most of the men would be bigger than their women counterparts and more athletic.

Women play a different game, therefore no.

So you're saying they could compete with several B1G teams?

    What do you think?

My thoughts? I believe they could. Many of the men's athletes that scrimmage against a women's team could play at the D-I level albeit a "lowly" school. Would Griner have as big an impact? Probably not, but she would still be decent. Where I think the matchups would be interesting are in the guard court. Someone like Sims could probably go toe to toe with her counterpart pretty easily. I also took into account that the matchup would have officials that actually call fouls and other rule offenses...of course this rules out nearly all D-I officials!
No way. They couldn't even beat a good boys high school team.

They would be mystified when the ref started counting to 10 the first time, it'd go downhill from there.

I'm a huge WBB fan, and I think a decent high school boys team would beat Baylor without much trouble. There's just a huge athleticism gap.

They all played with a 10-second backcourt count in high school.
