Would have liked to see us beat out some Pac 12 schools rather than WCC schools. Hopefully she is a hidden gem.

Great kid with a motor that won't quit and a huge Bball IQ. She has been coached by college coaches most of her life and currently works out with a trainer who trains NBA players. She was asked to join the AZWarriors (they don't have tryouts). The AZWarriors is basically St. Mary's team (National High School Champions) plus Jordan. She has been growing into her body and has just exploded talent wise over the past year. I also know she has been to ISU's camp since she was a freshman so your coaches have had a chance to watch her develop.
Don't worry, she was getting recruited by more than the WCC including other BCS conferences. Plus you might like that both her parents are from Iowa.
Good luck, in my opinion you guys got a steal before July!

Chelsea Poppens was barely noticed by ESPN Hoopgurlz (80 Grade, #59 forward) and not heavily recruited, but her never-ending motor and drive to compete brought her from that level to where she is now: a unanimous first-team all-Big 12 player and honorable-mention all-american.

Agree, and I also liked the comment that she is an "active rebounder;" that made me think of Pop too.

I wouldn't be too worried about what a rating service said about her and recruiting. Kiah Stokes was rated # 9 by All Star Girls Report and #42 by ESPN Hoopgurlz. The women's rating services aren't near as comprehensive as the men's.

I haven't seen it posted yet. Here's an article from the Ames Trib on Jordan: Women?s Basketball: Brains, brawn for ISU recruit Jensen | Ames Tribune
