Re: Watch Buckley and All-Iowa Attack in AAU semi-finals
Thanks for posting that feed. Great game, but Miami just had too much size inside. Three bigs 6'4" and taller against Kellogg and Lorenzen. I can see why Oklahoma wants Kellogg. Shea had a good game and held her own on the boards with all their size. The ball wasn't falling for Buckley today but as with any top player she just picked up her game in other ways. I am impressed with her and can't wait until she gets on campus. We all know how BF likes to play two point guards together. Can you imagine Buckley and Moody on the court at the same time?
It was nice to hear and see how Lyndsey coaches her team. Lots of the stuff sounds just like BF. She would be a big asset on the ISU bench instead of in the TV booth. But, I doubt that would ever happen. Again, thanks for the feed.

They played a game last night late too......and this game was played at 9AM ET today, so that may have had an effect.
I agree about Lyndsey. I'm sure she helps with the program somehow, but it would be nice to have her as a grad assistant, or volunteer coach or something. I love her intensity.

Am very hopeful about our guard play for the next few years. of course reality is a better judge than pre-college guessing.

It wouldn't be that bad for Buckley to learn how to play in the Big 12 by being backup to Moody. Anyway you look at it the guard court will be our strong point for several years to come.

You can never have enough really good guards in Big 12 WBB.

By the time Jadda gets on campus, Moody will be a junior and have another year under her belt as the starting pointguard. No way is BF going to move a freshman ahead of a junior who has started the last two years. I doubt he will move Moody to the 2 position as he did Loz last season. Em and Kidd should have that spot nailed down by then. Whatever happens we will go from an inside dominant team to and outside dominant one and let the 3's rain again.

Re: Watch Buckley and All-Iowa Attack in AAU semi-finals
I'm not going to worry about who is starting or not two seasons away. I am just really excited to see our new frosh play this year, and to see them play the following year with Jadda too, and who knows what other guard or two we may have. Think this time next year, the speculation about rotation with Jadda might be interesting.
I have high hopes/expectations for Emiah and Kidd who both had to play in tough competition in high school too, not just AAU, and played against other Big 12 recruits for that matter.
Really would like to see to us get a big guard/wing, we really could use another 6 footer like Aus or Bolte.
