I believe it is gut-check time for this team. Time for Bill to have a come-to-jesus meeting in the locker. A three game losing skid can create some bad atmosphere. Time to turn it around. WVU is a hard fighting scrappy team. They play well at home, but don't have much of a fan base to encourage them. They're probably still snorting over the OT loss they just had there with TT. They were cheated out of a late game three there IMO. The refs reviewed but couldn't really confirm from the live stream video. Which btw is a very good quality and so far has been free all year.
After sitting through the ISU-TT game in Lubbock I left shaking my head. Don't really know how to put it in words, but I really felt TT should have won that game, but was glad that ISU came out on top in the score column. I was not surprised at all that they lost at OSU, for that has always been a rough place to play. Yet OSU goes on the road and shows nothing. OSU is a strange team to figure right now. What really shocked me was how pitiful ISU played there. I watched every minute of it on a FOX replay and couldn't believe it.

The girls played Baylor very strong and think they have no reason to be ashamed of that game. They would not have lost at OSU had they played like that. Nor will they lose at WVU if they play with the same intensity. The remaining 11 games are crucial and favorable I say for the Clones. Anything less than 8-3 will be a big disappoint to me. Actually 9-2 would be more like it. DO IT GIRLS !!!

Info from Carey and player interviews on ISU:

"Moody one of the best PG in the country," we are going to have to pick our poison, let her drive and dish, or drive to lane(fouling on penetration has been a problem for them).

Also very concerned about Anna & Pop.

One key strategy will to be trying to keep the ball out of Moody's hands, and make others handle the ball. Guess they have done their scout well.

This team so far has struggled to shoot the ball and continues to throw some lazy passes in my view. Clean those up and I think we'll be fine. Go Cyclones!

If ISU is smart about it they could get some cheap fouls in the backcourt when WVU is trying to deny Moody the ball. They can take plenty of time doing it without the 10 second backcourt call.

This game is a big concern for the way we have been playing. We need to get good games from more players and a better team effort. We don't have the bench so that some players can come to game night asleep, like the men's team has. Everyone has to come and give their best effort.

It seems that every time I've watched this team, the Kristofferson (sp) girl has impressed me more than any of the others. Poppins and Prins just don't seem to have it together this year. They sure need to get something going and I mean like r-a-t, Rat Now!!
