What is ISU NCAA seed??

I Believe that this team has probably earn a #5 or #6 seed in the tourney anyone disagree?

I think #4 or #5. We get a bump for playing in the toughest conference and proving the merit of our conference season standing by reaching the 'ship in the Big 12 Tourney.

Just so we aren't playing Green Bay again! After hosting last year we probably can't complain too much about seeding. If it comes down to 5 vs 6 we will probably get the 6. Rest of nation seems to only recognize Baylor and no other Big 12 teams and even as Big 12 #2 we can only muster barely making the Top 25. I think we may be better than that, just thinking about how we are perceived. Or maybe we have been overrating our own league?

We don't have 2-3 heavy hitters like some other leagues but 2-7 in the Big 12 isn't separated by much...making it the toughest conference in the country to play a season in (unless your Baylor*)

If we could have taken care of business at TCU and vs WVU we'd be a top 18 team..

Yes, if the three games that got away from us (TCU, WVU, KU) had gone the other way, we'd be looking at a 4 seed for sure (if not an outside shot at a 3) with a record of 26-5, 15-3. Three of those five (assuming leaving out the woulda-coulda-shoulda losses) were at the hands of Baylor.

I still want to believe that we are more likely to be a 5, based on the league we're in, but there are a lot of teams that are justified to be in those 3-6 slots. Monday night when the field is revealed will be interesting, to say the least.
