Credits: 167,001 MLB: Cubs | Seeding possibilities for the Big 12 Tournament Seeding possibilities:
If we lose and Texas beats Tech, we get the 8 seed.
If we win and Oklahoma State beats Baylor and Oklahoma beats A&M, we get the 6 seed.
Otherwise, we get the 7 seed.
6 plays 11, 7 plays 10, 8 plays 9. The 9-11 seeds will be Colorado, Kansas and Tech (not necessarily in that order), so we will definitely play one of those three teams in the first round.
As for the next round, the 1 and 2 seeds are Kansas State and Baylor (also not necessarily in that order -- Baylor beat KSU head-to-head, so they hold the tiebreaker), so if we win in the first round we'll get one of those two in the second round unless we manage to get the 6 seed. If we do get the 6 seed, the second-round opponent is the 3 seed, which could be OU, OSU, or A&M.
Big 12 WBB bracket generator
(EDIT: as noted below by theshadow, there are scenarios where Oklahoma can get the #2 seed over Kansas State, so this isn't entirely correct.)

KU beating KSU in Lawrence
OSU over BU in Waco
OU over A&M in College Station
A 3-way tie at 12-4 would make BU #1, OU #2, KSU #3
BU swept OU
KSU lost to both BU and OU |

(EDIT: the above scenario doesn't even depend on Baylor losing. If Baylor wins and the other two games end up as listed above, OU wins the two-way tiebreaker against KSU for the 2 seed.)

We have to play at 12 AM Tues and 12 AM Wed if we win. It is going to be hard to make it down for the game. If people where going to head down for the Men's game on Wednesday and wanted to catch teh Women's game, they are going to have to leave extra early :( |

It is amazing how when our offense is down, our defense will pick right up and keep the game close. BF is doing an amazing job this season. Remember ISU women's basketball before him? |
