Why are they stuck in a crappy gym for the tourney. The big 12 women have the greatest fan base in the country. The auditorium doesn't even have 10,000 seats.
Even when ISU was in the finals, the Muni Auditorium had adequate seating. No other teams show up in KC like ISU, but, numbers are certainly on the rise. A KSU/ISU final, eg. wouldn't fit. It is certainly dated, but, the number of seats and location are good, for now. I don't know if KC plans a new facility. A new men's venue was, as usual, the first step. With Oklahoma City competing for designation as a permanent site, KC will have to step up.

Yeah, for anyone who wasn't there last year, the Women's venue in OK City was pretty good by most standards.

Going with the sisters but am somewhat nervous about this one. We need it to secure a NCAA bid IMO.
IMO the women need to WIN at least 2 to be on the bubble. Beating a bad CU team doesnt do much to secure anything. Most likely 3 wins to be in. 2 on the bubble. 1 win=bubble burst.

That's the point. It should keep us humbled. . . It's not our own good works that get us through the gates of heaven.'
