Will the girls be out of gas against A&M?

I'm hoping the adrenaline is flowing freely for our ladies because they have got to be pooped after the effort they exerted on the court today.

A&M had a cake walk against Mizzou and didn't have to play first round. They should be pretty fresh.

Twister sisters busted their butts and played a VERY hard fought game into overtime for their 2nd win in 2 days.

They have been on fire from 3.....I'm concerned there may not be anything left in the tank after today.

Last year I thought they ran out of gas finally in their run through the B12 tournament. Hoping they have a 2nd and 3rd wind this year to push them through.

Thoughts?

The one consistent i have always seen out of fennelly's teams is they always seem to be in great condition. I'm gonna say no.

What's the over/under on how many threes Ezell breaks the Big 12 Tournament record by? (She's tied now, so it would be how many she gets in the game tomorrow.)

I say 3.5.

Hopefully they can get rested up tonight and the flu bug stays away from everybody tonight. Heard Coach Fennelly talk about one of the starters up puking all night last night but still had quality minutes in the game today.....

That deserves mucho credit........I'd be nervous that I would be the first college player to hurl chunks on TV...

She already beat it by 1. It was 14 (for 3 games) and she has 15 in two games.

I still think the o/u for tomorrow will be 3.5...they will be all over her, and she can't stay that hot, can she??

That was Joc Anderson. As for Ezell and her 3 point en fuego-ness , I didn't think she could match yesterdays output but she surpassed it. As for tomorrow? aTm will be ready for her, but I'm not doubting Ezell at all, she wants it bad it seems, so I wouldn't be surprised if she hits 5 or 6 tomorrow.

As for the original topic, I am worried about the gas tank on these girls, but I not counting them out yet.

At this point it's all will power. I think we showed that we've got that today so don't count them out.

I didn't say that. I think A&M will be so paranoid about our three point shooting, that it will open up the middle considerably for Anderson and Nisleit. Plus, I think Lacey will benefit from the attention Ezell will get.

Plus, as noted, Ezell already has the record by 1...any threes she adds will be added to the record.

I don't think they will be out of gas tomorrow. We've got momentum heading into the game, it should help carry us through. At least I'm hoping...

Hope not, the game before was a big win so the starters hopefully got a little extra rest yesterday which probably helped us today.

Bolte really needs to have a good game vs aTm. She played great vs CU, but disappeared vs K-State. She has shown a good outside shot, but she has the size to go inside and that would really help. Hopefully Joc will feel better.
