Joe Posnanski column on ISU/KSU game

Here's a nice column about ISU/KSU game from Joe Posnanski of the KC Star.

www.kansascity.com | 03/12/2008 | Games like this only happen in the movies

It's split into 2 pages. There is a link to a 2nd page on the bottom.

Re: Joe Posnanski column on ISU/KSU game

Thanks for the link - Good Column, basic truths of winning and losing. I have a quote from Fennelly posted in my office - along the lines of "in basketball, every possession could be the deciding one." Those last two shots, the one that went in and the one that didn't (and Anderson's put back, without that one there would have been no OT - Kudos to her) are the ones we see in the news and talk about, but, in the final analysis, everyshot made and missed was just as important and decided the game.

Re: Joe Posnanski column on ISU/KSU game

This was the greatest feeling I have had since we were in Ohio and watched the Clones beat U CONN. I hope we have more fans coming down today. A&M looked to have under 500.

Plans for today:
Go to the Women's pregame party
Watch the Women beat A&M
Walk to Sprint Center and send the other A&M team home

Wow. What a great article. I wonder if anyone at the DSM Register is reading this?

That game in Cincy was a lot of fun. Wish I could have been there yesterday.

JoePo is absolutely one of the best columnists in the country. KC is lucky to have him.

Absolutely. I hope he never leaves the Star. His column last year after Zach Johnson won the Masters was incredible.
