A former very successful high school basketball coach in Rock Island, Il had a good way of handling parents who thought their son was not getting enough playing time. He would talk to the parents about more playing any time they would come in with their son and the parents and player whose playing time they thought should be cut and explain why their son should get that time. Needless to say he had very few meetings!
