Here's the link!

That is and incredible story.
They will be having the high school classes at the middle school in Aplington, and the gym is still there where Aplington HS won 76 straight games in the early 90s so word around town is that they will play home games there.
Also, plans are now to put a pole building up in the parking lot of the middle school, haul in a portable floor, and that's where practices will be held. Maybe that will give JP an idea for a cheaper way to build a new practice facility

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

Amazing. Good thing there was that space to "hide" in between the two buildings!

PS It was 74 straight games, not 76.

I just looked it up and you're right. Got beat by Raef at MFL-MarMac in substate by 3.

I was at that game. What a barn burner. It was at the Oelwein High School and it was a sellout. I was sitting by a guy in a suit who I thought was probably a local business man. I asked him where he worked and he said he was a recruiter for Notre Dame looking at Raef.

I was also at the game. I think of that day as Black Friday. I believe Aplington shot 3-18 from behind the 3-point line. One or two more makes and they probably would have had a three-peat.
