BF has indicated that she needs a year to learn how US basketball works, so I'd say it is doubtful with the depth at guard that she will.

She only turned 18 in September, that combined with her first taste of American BB, she sounds like a rare redshir candidate to me.

sounds like a good idea to red shirt her.... she could use the season to adjust and be ready to go next year when she'll be needed more

Another possible reason for rshirt is she likes to run the point and that would alleviate the issue of having 3 PGs in one class. (If they were all to stay, which I don't think will happen.)
