Good for the ladies. It's nice to look at the top 25 poll and see teams on there that we have beaten - Texas A&M (12), Kansas State (20), Vanderbilt (24), Oklahoma State (34). The game against OU is going to be huge!

Buoyed by a rout of then-No. 10 Texas A&M, Iowa State made the biggest jump — five places to No. 16. It’s the Cyclones highest ranking in four years.

And also - this Jim Massie fellow is out of his gourd. He obviously has not watched Tennessee play at all this year. They lost twice last week, but to two currently top 10 teams.

One of the 45 voters—Jim Massie of the Columbus Dispatch—dropped Tennessee from the Top 25, the first time the Lady Vols don’t appear on every ballot since the media starting voting in 1994.

Let's hope this all leads to a higher seed in the NCAA tournament - we haven't had more than a first-round win since 2001. If we get a 3 or 4 seed in some region, we have a chance to make the Sweet Sixteen.

With the status of football and men's BB what they are, lots of fans are buzzing about following the women in the NCAA. If we get sent to a relatively close site - like East Lansing, Bowling Green, or South Bend (assuming Iowa City is out) - we're going to have tons of Cyclone fans making the trip...

Pulse is absolutely right. at #2 or #3 finish would be VERY helpful, as we've mentioned before. Baylor owns us right now should we tie (head to head winner). KSU and ISU each have one North loss (eachother) at the moment...
ISU owns Texas A&M.

Lucky for us, KSU is the only one we're competing with that doesn't play in the south. Texas aTm and Baylor all have plenty of chances to kick the crap out of eachother

I really like seeing a team that improves game by game throughout the season. In my opinion that's a sign of great coaching.
