    MU Announcers entertaining

It was fun to watch the game mainly because the announcers were so entertaining to listen to. They really knew Big 12 and ISU basketball, and had a lot to say about ISU. Ironically, most announcers can't pronounce Niz's last name, but tonight they kept calling Bolte - Bolt, for whatever reason.

Couple of fun comments from them:(paraphrazed)

You have to be really smart to play for ISU and learn and remember all of ISU's offensive schemes.

It is really fun to watch ISU's offense and all of their movement

Great offensive spacing and screening - so and so must be worn out from running through all those screens

Complimented Aus, Ezell on their game knowledge and abililty.

Said that ISU WBB was the most exciting story of the Big 12 Tournament last year.

Liked BF's strategy of getting a lot of bench minutes late in the first half to keep the team fresh.

It was nice to listen to announcers from another team's network that appreciated our team and were more knowledgeable that the standard stats.

It was like listening to two ISU announcers last night. Those two had where in love with Bill and the Sisters! It was great.

Excuse me? From the DMR's article this AM:

Iowa State’s reserves played only a combined seven minutes in the second half, as Ezell, Bolte and Alison Lacey went the entire 20 minutes and Amanda Nisleit played 18 minutes

Heard a comment from BF yesterday on the radio and he said Mizzoo players were talking a little trash after the sisters beat them in Ames and how they would kill us in Columbia - nice job by the sisters shutting up the hillbillies.

Actually, we should cheer on the cowgirls from OSU tonight to beat A&M. Then we should cheer AGAINST Baylor on Saturday. That would give us second place! This would also give us the winner of TTU and Mizzou. I like that possibility rather that the #3 which could match us up against #6 Texas in the QF.

If you say so, I'm in! Let's go Cowgirls.

not what they are told but what they see.
