Maybe by plane which is likely how she got there.

    Re: Texas/ISU Game Thread

just back from the game. Haven't read through this whole thread, so forgive me for any repeats.

I thought we came out exceptionaly flat - especially with having to start an unfamiliar guard line-up. The freshman mistakes were obvious when they happened, but overall I didn't think they did too bad. Us not blocking out in the lane and not getting rebounds was much more of a problem than that I thought.

However, whether or not we were stinking it up blocking out, and over the back is still over the back....and that didn't get called enough tonight I thought.

Nicky had some problems hitting shots inside - particularly a couple of those fade away 7 footers along the baseline. Lots of shots that rimmed in and out multiple times. For everybody. After watching 4 women's games on this court...that's not just a fluke. these rims are a little extra springy. has happened multiple times in multiple games where shots are halfway in and then somehow make their way back out. Texas had lots of problems with this yesterday vs MU.

Best part of the game? Denae hitting that three from the far wing. If you couldn't tell from the broadcast or radio, the crowd went wild. It rocked. that three tied it up for us, and was probably the turning point in the game for us....kept us from going down any more.

Overall a great watch - just wish it didn't have to be so dramatic

Did she say Austin or just Texas. Dallas and North Texas are much closer than Austin.

That's sounds like what the radio described. They didn't talk about the rims, that is good info. That would explain some of the misses.

And, don't worry, you're young - your heart will survive the drama

    Re: Texas/ISU Game Thread

    Hello all,
This is my first chance to comment on last night's game. And what a game it was. I was already fearing the worst having to play Texas on Friday the 13th, but then to her the news about Heather right before the game started I was devastated. But when someone goes down someone steps up. Whitney hit a big three in the first half and then in the second half and entire game really you had Denae SSSSSSSSSTTTTTTUUUCCCCCCKKKEEEEEYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
I'm so proud of that girl. The biggest three hit by a cyclone in a long time.

We ISU fans were loud and rocking down here. I know I made the TV broadcast a couple of times. I'm the guy in the Anna #13 jersey.
CF Squad : Erik, Cubsy, Gnomeborg, Rulzzz, TBD , TBD

    <<110 LBS LOST>>

Is it your goal to lose Anna's weight as well?
