I can take a joke, but it's just dumb to post something like that. Even non-womens' basketball fans who are ISU people were jacked up about the game the other night and the program. Yeah, we lost, but it's still a little too soon. That'd been like someone coming on here the day after we lost to Alabama in the Independence bowl and being like... MAN DAN MCCARNEY IS THE WORST COACH EVER!! CAN'T HE RECRUIT A TEAM!?! FIRE HIM NOW...

It's just stupid. And April fools or not... the guy is a d-bag.

Nobody'd have followed along if he'd chosen volleyball!

This loss wasn't the Shirley / Fizer / Tinsley game with MSU, where ISU was hosed and arguably the best team in the country. BF got farther with this squad than anybody imagined he could and they ran into a much better team. He's the perfect coach for us and nobody, not even a hawk fan, would believe the premise of this thread. That makes it humorous...

We also had a thread a few weeks ago questioning whether Sanderson was the right coach. There are stupid fans out there.

It is well understood that this is a hoax, but there are some things that just aren't funny.

hope your not serious because womens basketball is all this university has. Iowa state womens bball will never go to the final four because we cant get the players from the west coast and east coast to come to AMES IOWA. To me he does pretty damn good with the players he gets. So if i were you guys i would be worrying about our mens basketball program. **** even our wrestling program isnt very good anymore. So in the end i will take the elite 8 anyday :)

yeah, man our wrestling really stinks it up with 3 conference titles in a row and 3 years with real shots at national titles. we were SOOOOOOOO much better the decade before Cael took over. How many conference titles in the ten years prior to cael?
