top ten reasons to play at ISU ?

coaching staff..all of them,community support..where everyone knows your name.road trips...that take you too places most people only dream about,bahamas,nashville,cal.,Hi..aloha!! and oh yea some of the best basketball in the country.Div 1 ball in the best conf. in the country (the Big 12)..when the announcer calls your name in front of over 10,000 people and you almost trip over the ESPN camera man as you run out on the floor(that just might be magic) yep it is.and we call it HILTON MAGIC.1 more thing tell MOM that all the girls graduate with a great education.

Why wouldn't you want to play for ISU? The only downside to Iowa State, and the upper midwest in general are the winters. But to recruits/potential recruits/parents/guardians/etc. -- I spent the first 13 years of my life with cool winters and hot-as-hell summers in South Carolina. After I moved to Iowa, the first few winters caught me off guard, but you adjust very easily.

Plus, there probably isn't a warmer feeling for a player or coach (or a fan!) than entering Hilton Coliseum with the pep band blaring, the crowd excitedly chatting away, and watching the clock count down to the start of the game.

I don't have a top 10 reasons to play at ISU, but I know the top reasons; it's the team, the coaches, the band, the crowd, and the atmosphere!

The practice facility is promoted as a boon to the program. In addition to the athletic factors, ISU offers a good education, attractive campus and a nice place to live.
