Bill gets to stay

From a BF Twitter post this morning:
Just finished my evaluation--looks like we get to stay another year-GREAT place to work and look forward to the "new" team/next challenge

why wouldnt he?? did i miss somthing?

I believe that bill has a lifetime contract

I think there is supposed to be some humor in that Tweet!

I hate how people and media think twitter posts are news. The are not. "Miley Cyrus posted a cute picture of her dog today." That's not news worthy and neither is this. End rant.

I don't know if it is "news", but if people are interested in reading them, I don't see the issue. No one is forced to read Twitter.

I too find it hilarious. Particularly since ESPN has been on board for some time now. It's not real reporting. Some of the stuff is interesting, but NOT MEDIA WORTHY. For goodness sakes, lane kiffin doesn't even post his own tweets. And that was a weeks worth of 'news' that was not newsworthy. gah.

I think you missed the point so i'll try again. When I turn on CNN in the morning or I go hang out with my friends and I hear "so and so did this and that according to her twitter page and its really awesome. Now lets bring in a qualified panel of experts to debate said twitter post." Its a waste of time and oh so irritating. I could start another rant about the low quality of news at CNN but I won't.

Guys! Can't we just be happy that Bill has told us is staying? Think about it. Save the Twitter anger for another thread.
