    holy Kansas...I didnt know they were going to be that good this year. I guess it wasnt so bad that we lost there last year if they were up & coming.

    Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

    ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    KU also lost their highly touted Freshman PG to a ACL tear in preseason last year. KU is for real. As for Neb being ahead of us what a joke. Connie Yori couldn't coach her way out of a paper bag.

    why is oklahoma ranked so high??? they lost both of the 275 lb. amazon twins ,didn't they?????? i believe they were the paris twins.coach rhoads could have used those two in our defensive line!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Texas and Oklahoma are always ranked high...because, well, they're Texas and Oklahoma.

    Those polls don't mean very much. Personally, I like having us ranked where we are. We always seem to perform better when we are ranked in the middle of the pack at the beginning of the season than near the top.
