    2011 Iowa class is stacked

Perhaps ISU might land a couple. I haven't heard about the two at East or Keitel, anyone seen them play? ESPN has a relatively good rating on them.

    Women's Basketball Recruiting Prospects 2011 - ESPN

Kiah Stokes - doubtful, rumor is going East
    Taylor Greenfield - high interest
Sharonda Butts - 5 7 point guard East Des Moines
Markisha Wright - 6 2 post East Des Moines
Virginia Johnson - seems to be emerging, write up in ESPN article on midwest
Jennifer Keitel - seems to be emerging, write up in ESPN article on midwest

We need to sign all of them. We are the dominant WBB program in the state.

One name that caught my eye is Sharonda Butts. Back in 1980-1981 and maybe 1982 one of our starting defensive tackles was Marc Butts and he was from Des Moines. I wonder if he is her dad. He was a team captain his senior year if I'm not mistaken.

You're right. There are some very good players in that class. Tourney time at Wells Fargo should be fun to watch that year.

I'm kinda surprised the girl from Exira isn't on the 2010 list (Christofferson I believe?)

Hoopgurlz concentrates on people who go to large regional or national camps/competitions. Christofferson hasn't really done much of that as far as I know. She's probably better than almost all the people on the 2010 Iowa list.

I think she is from somewhere other than Des Moines.

Anything is possible. I didn't know where I was going to school until I was 19. That might be extreme the other way, but I doubt she is sure one way or the other. Greenfield would be a nice get.
